I set my prices in collaboration with Philadelphia Tax Prep for Artists. We keep our prices lower than other for-profit tax preparation services as a way of demonstrating our commitment to serving artists and cultural workers.
For the 2024 tax filing season (tax year 2023), for returns with self-employment income, we charge:
$350 for Single Filers, Head of Household, and Married Filing Separately
$500 for Married Filing Jointly
This includes e-filing federal taxes, state taxes (all 50 states), and City of Philadelphia self-employment taxes (if applicable).
Additional charges may be assessed for complex returns, such as those with multiple rental properties, local taxes other than Philadelphia self-employment taxes, more than 10 1099s or W2s, part-year residence in different states or more than two non-resident state returns.
If you need to, you are welcome to pay in installments.
If your income falls below a certain level and your return is simple, I am able to offer discounts. Just ask.
I charge $150–$225 for a straightforward W-2 return that does not include self-employment income.
My consultation rate is $75/half-hour.
Unless otherwise requested, all appointments and documents are handled virtually.
Appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a $50 cancellation charge. The third time an appointment is rescheduled, a $50 rescheduling fee will be charged.
